CCTV Drain Surveys

A CCTV drain inspection takes the inconvenience and expense out of keeping an eye on any drains linked to your property.  Sometimes, a home or other premises can suffer the consequences of an undiagnosed drainage problem.  But such issues don’t have to be a headache for Flowrite Drainage customers.  Our teams will use the latest equipment to carry out an underground CCTV survey, inform you of any issues they discover, and provide a free, no-obligation quotation to make repairs.

How is a CCTV sewer inspection carried out?  When a building is erected, access holes are left in the drain system to facilitate maintenance.  When conducting a CCTV drain survey West Sussex engineers lift the lid of the access hole and drop a remotely-controlled wheeled robot into the pipe.  The robot is equipped with lights and cameras, an can transmit images back to the operator via a video screen.

Anything from a simple blockage to a collapsed drain can usually be identified in this way without any digging being necessary.  Drain CCTV systems also mean the fault can be located with accuracy, saving much time and labour.  Amazingly, it is sometimes possible to use remote means to make the necessary repairs, negating the need for groundworks altogether.  In other circumstances, engineers will know just where to dig and what to expect when they get there thanks to the CCTV pipe inspection.

Some of our customers commission a full CCTV drain survey to inspect the state of their pipework and identify any potential problems.  After all, forewarned is forearmed!  We can also provide CCTV surveys for drainage systems at schools, hospitals, businesses and other establishments.
